Snowdon Railway
We are only a short walk from the Snowdon Mountain Railway Station where trains can take you to the summit of the highest mountain in Wales.
Climbing Snowdon
You can start your ascent of Snowdon right from our door or catch the Sherpa bus just 100yards away to Pen y Pass for an alternative climb. Why not take on the Snowdon Horseshoe or even the Glyders across the valley.
Llanberis Village
The infamous Pete's Eats Cafe, Georgio's Ice Cream Parlour and Electric Mountain visitor centre are all a few minutes walk away. Next to the village is Padarn Lake where you can take a ride on the Snowdon Star pleasure boat, go boating or hire canoes. Across the lake is the Ropes and Ladders high ropes course, the Welsh Slate Museum, Vivian Lake diving centre, the miniature lakeside railway and numerous woodland walks in Padarn Country park taking you through the old slate quarry workings full of history.

Climbing
Llanberis is a rock climbers mecca with thousands of routes only a short distance away in the Llanberis Pass or the vast slate quarries. Big mountain routes, Classic rock or superb technical bouldering is all here.
Paddlesports
You can take a Canadian Canoe on the lake, paddle nearby whitewater rivers such as the Llugwy, or coastal waters are in easy reach for the sea kayaker.
Mountain Biking
Snowdon provides an epic ascent and descent for the ultimate big mountain bike ride with superb technical singletrack, the telegraph trail also provides a challenging route, both of which can be ridden from the door.
